DIY Banana Facial Mask

DIY Banana Facial Mask 4

Who needs expensive procedures and Botox when you have bananas?

This fruit works miracles when it comes to moisturizing your skin. The banana is regarded as an excellent ally of the skin (regardless of its type) for its abundance in potassium, vitamins and beta-carotene. Potassium is its most effective element, since it is known for combating bags under your eyes, dark circles and fluid retention in your body.

Beta-carotene, which turns into vitamin A in your body, deters the action of free radicals resulting in younger-looking skin. It makes your skin soft and smooth.

Ingredients:

Banana: 1 Ripe
Lemon Juice: 1 teaspoon (used for its toning and astringent properties)
Honey: 1 teaspoon (used for its antibacterial properties)
Vitamin E Oil : 3 Drops ( powerful antioxidants)

Directions:

Using a clean bowl, peel the banana and mash it in the bowl using a fork.
Add one teaspoon of lemon and honey each into the bowl, and mix everything well.
Spread the paste on your face. Avoid the area around your lips and eyes if your skin is sensitive to lemon juice.
Leave the mask on for about 15-20 minutes. Rinse the mask off your face with warm water.
Finish by using cold water as your final wash to close your facial pores.
Gently pat your face dry with a towel.
